In a Group wide drive to reduce effluent levels and costs, Advetec 460 was introduced at the Abbeydale Road factory to evaluate the effects on the existing effluent levels and to prevent the build up of fats at the Queensbury Road Access Point 0502 in the Thames Water main sewer.
During the evaluation period the levels of effluent discharged were monitored and special note was taken of:
A site wide survey was conducted prior to the Advetec dispensing system being installed. During the evaluation period effluent samples were collected weekly. Analysis was performed independently by the Environment Agency Laboratories & Thames Water
