Research-Projects

The Advetec Group are currently working with prestigious businesses and universities around the world to enhance bacteriological activity in the following fields.
 The University of Northampton
The Universty of Northampton
Advetec and its sister company NRP (Natural Radon Protection) have developed, over the last 4 years, a unit called the RadAngel. This unit has been specifically manufactured to remove Radon gas from the environment. The units have been tested with Northampton University, to establish long-term health benefits for the public. The trails have now been completed and the findings will be published in 2009. Radon is one of the world’s leading causes of cancer and the installation of the Radangel unit will reduce peoples’ exposure to this gas.

he University of Gothenburg
The University of Gothenburg
Advetec is working with the leading biochemists across the globe, to enhance insulin yield from yeast based growth. With the global increase in diabetes of around 35% per annum, and the ever increasing cost of production, Advetec’s new technological advances could provide a solution to this mounting problem.

University of Cambridge

The University of Cambridge

Advetec is working with professors from various universities to enhance the uptake of enzymes by bacteria. This research could save thousands of trees globally.

Knowledge Transfer Networks

The Knowledge Transfer Network

Advetec staff are members of technical committees looking at chemical free waste water treatment, reduction in organic waste production and reduction of industrial effluents for the Knowledge Transfer Network.

University of Reading

The University of Reading

Advetec is working on enhancing a specific type of bacteria to stop tree destroying parasite. The testing and trial work is underway to save the great British Horse Chesnut tree. A parasitic bacteria has been detected that is similar to “Dutch Elm” disease, which in the past, destroyed the Elm trees. The new strain has already effected 80% of the trees in the UK, together with similar proportions in other European countries. Advetec’s products are being used to enhance the effects of friendly bacteria in an effort to slow deterioration in badly contaminated trees and stop the spread in more juvenile trees.

Micron Bio-Systems

Micron–Bio

Advetec is working with Micron–Bio on projects to increase gasification in anaerobic digesters by invigorating anaerobic bacteria.
