Agriculture is one of the highest producers of solid waste in the industrial world. With European Legislation driving farmers to store their slurry for longer periods, Advetec has, for a long time, been selling its Advetec 800 product. Which helps heavily encrusted slurry pits become stable, activated sludge beds, thereby reducing odours and making emptying of the lagoons easier. Since 2007 Advetec has developed a product delivery system that encapsulates Nitrogen, Pottasium and Phosphates typically lost from agricultural slurry and retains these for application as enhanced liquid fertilizers.
The system is a completely automated and injects not only bio-stimulant, but also specific strains of bacillus to metabolise ammonia in urea. The result is a system that allows the farmer to retain this valuable resource and reuse it on his farm. The system and its components, together with Advetec 800, are recognised by the organic farm growers association. The Automatic dosing System is Solar powered, providing 24/7 inoculation of lagoons or effluent pits, in turn increasing efficiency, reducing man hours and ensuring the system’s payback.
